And soon I bet I'll do it again and find the Dawn Redwood! The link was:
http://dawnredwood.org/
However it's quite likely that there are others in public parks and gardens in the area as they were widely planted as ornamental trees.
John "By Stargoose And Hanglands"https://www.blogger.com/profile/00832873074550725579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260586819821554181.post-82290427297596275952019-04-14T13:49:07.850-04:002019-04-14T13:49:07.850-04:00I inadvertantly deleted John's post...which to...I inadvertantly deleted John's post...which told me where I could find some Dawn Redwoods in NC! So I tried the DuckDuckGo search and found this..."Somewhere in the Sauraton Mountains of North Carolina, lies the Crescent Ridge Dawn Redwoods Preserve," which won't be opened until 2035 apparently. There is a photo of the man who's heading up the preserve efforts standing next to a Dawn Redwood in Durham NC. So I know one is available for me to see, somewhere. I hope John got my apology and will give me the link he suggested again!Barbara Rogershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08351113054045427775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260586819821554181.post-55612046972616486012019-04-14T11:10:40.879-04:002019-04-14T11:10:40.879-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.John "By Stargoose And Hanglands"https://www.blogger.com/profile/00832873074550725579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8260586819821554181.post-60530868535588629182019-04-14T07:40:54.607-04:002019-04-14T07:40:54.607-04:00Hello,
