In front of one of our favorite coffee shops in Black Mountain, is a historic marker. I doubt that anyone ever hears about Andre' Michaux in their education other than this sign.
Boy, do I agree with his quote! The other night, my daughter in law showed me something on Youtube that I laughed at harder than I have laughed in twenty years...I was laughing so hard, nothing was coming out of my mouth for at least 5 minutes....tears coming out of my eyes...then I realized my chest actually hurt....like my heart was going to pop out...and even that was funny. I think it's been so long since I laughed like that...that it gave my heart to much excercise!
So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
