Thrifty Taoist

Sorry about double posts today (triple?_) in the wee hours the posts scheduled for March came out in Feb.

Treat everyone you meet as if he or she were going to be dead by midnight. Extend to them all the care, kindness, and understanding you can muster, and do so with no thought of reward. Your life will never be the same.

  1. That's pretty good advice! It happened with my 19 year old nephew, not that I saw him or talked to him the night he died (September 27, 2011). He left to go back to college and got side-tracked with friends...and was dead by 1:30 a.m. It was a terrible shock for our whole family.

  2. Wonderful quote! I'd love to be the sort of person who could do that.

So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
