Burnsville Chapter 4

There's a big town square.  All the traffic goes around it in one direction.

It is a county seat, but the court house is actually off to the side of the square (no picture of it unfortunately)

The Library of Yancey County is on the square.

We noticed the Japanese Dogwood
And this lovely old oak, but it had leaves growing right out of its bark...we didn't know what kind of tree did that, do you?

Quote for today:

When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is wrought in our life, or in the life of another.
Helen Keller

  1. Lovely. We stayed at the Nu Wray Inn on a visit there. Quite a lovely little town.
