Free concert in the park

Every Thursday during the summer, the people who like music, the people who like to sit outside with friends in the evening, gather at Lake Tomahawk to listen to live music.

Here we are, at 6:30.  The concert starts at 7.  The couple in front of me brought their own beverages (probably illegal, but nobody seemed to care.)
There are usually a couple of food vendors available.  Hot dogs and ice cream this evening.

The crowd around the hotdog stand began to build up.  And the music began for a nice comfortable cool evening.

There were a gazillion kids running around, and friends that I found to sit next to.

An enjoyable evening...though I did leave early.  But this Thursday is the last one for this summer, so baring rain, I'll be back!

  1. Yes, summer fun is winding down here as well. We'll have the town to ourselves for several weeks until the leaf peepers start.

So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
