COMMENTARY ON QUOTE:

I think this is not true.  No starving person is going to be that grateful for the sun or the rain, nor someone who has been hurt severely is going to be grateful for one moment of less pain.  Perhaps, but I think this idea just doesn't sit well with me.  What do you think?

  1. Interesting quote. I can't imagine that a starving person would find life richer -- but they might value even the tiniest crumb immensely.

    1. I agree, and that reminds me of the practice of mindful eating. I think I'll try doing that today.
