The woods in winter

The Little River flowing towards Hooker Falls.

A birch with a strange configuration.

  2. A nice place to walk! I can almost hear the river.

  3. A lovely place to walk in the winter woods--and I imagine in the summer also. By the way the tree in the second photo is a beech, not a birch. A birch would have papery bark. A beech has leaves which cling all winter.
