Just as our second ammendment gives us the right to bear arms...thus we can all have guns! To defend ourselves and our homes, and to hunt if needed. I wouldn't want much out of the woods these days though (sparse as those deer may be, or maybe bear.)
Today there are too many shootings of innocent people in the US. So I propose a gun law that makes it illegal to own semi-automatic weapons. I know those who want to keep a gun that fires many bullets a minute will keep them. But I do want them to be against the law. Let's start somewhere!
And at least some level of background check and/or licence.

ReplyDeleteIt should be harder to get a gun than it is to drive a car. Stringent background checks.
