Asheville Arboretum

Early morning we started wandering through the various gardens... 

There are benches strategically placed throughout the gardens.

This is a sculpture that's been there for years.

Yes, it's corn!

That bright yellow splatch of something caught my eye as we walked into the garden.






The Appalachian type setting is like going from miniature views to lifesize.

A volunteer answered our question about how old any of the Bonsais were.  They don't know, or won't tell, or don't care.


These "setting" type Bonsai combinations seem more modern than the classic ones.

Yes, the huge rock is part of this "setting."
