Blossoms around Blue Ridge Apartments

I liked this shot so much it's my header over on "When I was 69" blog.

These rocking chairs, and ones on the other side of the building, are frequent gathering places of residents.

There are some handicapped formatted apartments in the complex.

This lovely pink dogwood is on the other side of the office building, with a three story building behind it, more apartments with basically the same layout as mine, but on a hallway rather than directly outside through their front doors.

After the late pruning in March, some azalea bloom are still there on these bushes. Here is my kitchen window.

This flame azalea (native to the woods of North Carolina) is doing very well.

Today's quote:

There’s power in love to help and heal when nothing else can. There’s power in love to lift up and liberate when nothing else will. There’s power in love to show us the way to live.

    1. They are so brilliant, aren't they? If anyone can be ho-hum in their presence, they aren't looking up at all!

  4. Looking good. Too bad the season is so short — at least it is here.

    1. We have high winds now, low humidity. So the blossoms are somewhat sunburned and falling off. But rain is expected this weekend, as well as possible frosts. Things in spring sure do change with the weather.

  5. Pink dogwood is lovely. At a house long ago we had one that started pink but would change to white as the blooms developed. We had much needed rain yesterday and this morning. I hope I can get some photos of what's happening outside here.

    1. I often am just driving along on residential streets and stop (if no one's behind me) and click out my window.
