Up the hill from me

A good bit of exercise brought me up the hill (walking in the parking lot) to see these lovely flowers.

The sun came out, shining across this Iris !

Today's quote:

When we impose our will onto others, we are telling them we want to control and leave them without a true voice.

    1. Oh I'm so glad you've finally got spring blossoms to enjoy. I always called the wild ones near ponds flags...but there probably aren't many of them left.

    1. The pale blues are a pretty standard variety, but those deep browns are really beautiful!

  5. Iris flowers are so lovely, but the ones that I once planted were very short-lived. I didn’t really like the plant itself, so I planted something else the next year.

    1. They don't stay in bloom but for a day or two, and the best way they show is a few years after planting, when they've spread. That gets better each year. I wonder what you replaced them with.
