Mountain Moral Monday

The Black Mountain Unitarian Universalist Church (UUCSV) was well represented, (next to the NAACP table.)
Rev. Barber, NC head of NAACP spoke eloquently.

Another great blogger was also there...sorry we didn't get to meet,  Vicki Lane.

This was camera's occasional view of Rev. Barber.

So proud to have been there yesterday afternoon.

Quote for the Day: (Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was inspired by this approach to change.)
"I know that in embarking on non-violence I shall be running what might be termed a mad risk. But the victories of truth have never been won without risks.
Mahatma Gandhi

  2. What a day it was. Barb! You have some great pictures. I see we were, indeed, in the same general area -- sorry not to have met in person.

  3. Sorry I couldn't make the Mountain Moral Monday but Brevard was well-represented. I have read many of the speeches and they must have been so moving.

So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
