A tiny garden enjoyed by all

On the corner of Walker St. and Old US 70. I've posted some shots of this lovely little garden and the hand painted fence before.

The iris leaves are stretching towards the sunlight. Then in the photo below, the shade from a tree branch seems part of the scene on the fence, almost.

I liked seeing the little narcissus, which I used to force in a dish of pebbles and water indoors. They were very fragrant. Their daffodils have lost their blooms here.

A flat of pansies, which was brought inside when we had a few cold nights. It's due to be planted near the back entrance to the Black Mountain Art Center.

And I must share a lovely pitcher full of tiny lilies of the valley.

    1. I agree. It does take time according to how far north you are. But just think if we went further south to Florida, they don't have much of a spring at all. Just boom, summer, the hurricane season, then gloomy winter!
