Just look what I found!

Goodie goodie...the promise of spring is out there!

Quote for today:
We have thousands of opportunities every day to be grateful: for having good weather, to have slept well last night, to be able to get up, to be healthy, to have enough to eat...There's opportunity upon opportunity to be grateful; that's what life is.

  2. Yes, there's surely something to be grateful for on every day. We're just beginning to see a few budding daffodils too. (I've got a few bird photos coming up soon on my blog!)

  3. It'll be late April and into May before we see any of that.

  4. Eileen...those red buds are on a maple, as are the whitish ones which were opened a bit more...in the sunshine. Alas, today is cloudy again.
John, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your spring, whether plants, flowers or birds! I heard some chirping this morning outside, music to my ears!
William, yes, you have to have some tradeoffs for having ice sculptures which last long enough to be photographed. Here they'd be puddles in no time...or at least usually. This year our weather has been all over the place.

  5. Well, well! Look at that! I spied a patch of forsythia blooming on the south side of an embankment.

So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
