Ducklings on the lake

Yesterday I missed taking photos of 3 goslings...so I was pleased to see these ducklings swimming after mom on the lake at noon today.  Well, on Friday, since this won't get posted till Saturday.

 OK, I could have cropped this shot, taken with the phone. The little darlings were moving with a lot of speed.

And I'll include some photos of the preparations for children/our human ducklings to swim all summer...

It was covered with pollen the next day, and hadn't been filled any more. Oh well.
