Rhododendrons

Rhododendrons are wonderful in bloom all over the mountains.

I always get this plant confused with Mountain Laurel.  Most of the wild Laurel has little blossoms, much the same shape, usually white, or a reddish streaked.

This is the laurel.

And this is our rhododendron.

  1. These are gorgeous!! Thank you for visiting my blog and for your lovely comment!!
Our Lake Eden is full of wonderful bird life, and a lovely walking path/boardwalk around the entire lake. The Black swans are quite a highlight, especially when they have baby cygnets!
I'd love to see your Lake Eden!!

  2. Your laurels are quite similar to the rhododendrons. I have just been visiting a garden full of the most beautiful rhododendrons exquisite.
