The greening of the mountains from Tanbark Ridge overlook, elevation 3175 feet, Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina. The road seen in upper left is the parkway as it continues northeast. Can you see the little houses, including my favorite, the red roofed one?

Daffodils today, gone tomorrow



Out of the brown and grey land comes happy, daffy flowers!

  2. They are beautiful and just what's needed to brighten up a dull day. I have a nice display of the small "tete-a-tete" daffodils in my back yard just now.

  3. Ours survived the cold snap, albeit with some bent stems. I just now went out and picked the bent ones to brighten the house.
