Lake Tomahawk construction

I've seen the dam as it was begun to be scraped down, from the road. They are going to find leaks and do something about them.

And the playground extension is begun as well.

So it was a good opportunity for some young people to dabble in the lake waters...

Their dog wandered where he pleased, but was dragging his leash behind him, so was obeying the "dogs on leash" sign literally!

Today's quote:

The smallest surprise, received gratefully, yields a harvest of delight.

  1. Hello,
It will be nice when the dam work is done. I like the photo of the children with their dog. Take care, enjoy your day!

    1. There's even a public sign describing things...but I haven't walked to that area yet to take a photo of it. Soon!

    1. Apparently when the trees were removed, whose roots of course helped stabilize the dam, those roots then died and caused spaces for leakage. What a bunch of dolts (I think!)

  4. Maybe by summer you'll have lake and playground restored.

    1. Yes. And at least I have a car for which I'm very grateful (and pay a lot on insurance and gas) to move myself elsewhere!
