 A trip to Morgantown to the Asian Fusion Kitchen

A fun decorated ceiling gave us a cheerful welcome.

Bulgogi (Korean BBQ Beef) was Judy's delight. She said it was well seasoned but not "hot" spicey.

Pad Woon Sen was delicious! I brought half of it home!

Others also had a great soup and appetizers, which I forgot to take photos of.

Coming back where we started, and then to the Pack Library...

We loved the used book sales room

A lovely quite which took 17 years to create, with a panel from each of the 100 counties of North Carolina. Of course we didn't know where half of them were (the counties) and often their square didn't give any clues.

A really nice card was available with better photography of the quilt...

With this on the reverse side explaining how the quilt came about.

From the street level at Pack Library, is this well which serves the windows for the downstairs rooms. And a rather imaginative bunch of prehistoric critters graces the space with this mural.

It definitely harkens back to the library providing books from which these critters might have come.

 The view to the south does point to beautiful mountains. First trip April 10, 2019

 There's a rather abrupt drop-off, so we stayed on the path! Hope nobody brings little kids here unattended!

The changes in 19 days are to turn all these mountains green soon.

Sunday from one end to another

 I started out the day brewing coffee for the church people to drink after the service. I like splitting up the duties in which I do prep work, and a friend does cleanup.

 Then in the evening, I went to a Yule ritual in Asheville.  It was fun seeing decorations there.

 Even plastic greenery looks pretty when the light hits it.

 Their love and peace tree was pretty too.

This was before the Yule ritual, where the Holly and the Ivy met with the Oak king and the Sun returned...very nicely dramatized, and included some participation by those who attended.
