It's August!

Rabbit Rabbit...or good luck for the beginning of another month. August!

Black Otter Rex rabbits

August 1 is a pagan holiday of Lamas. Celebrate with fresh breads, products of the wheat and corn harvests!

For Celtic celebrations, August 1 is known as Lughnasadh, another harvest celebration.

However you approach August, stay cool, calm, healthy and share the love!

April First

 Rabbit rabbit.

 April Fools Day!

I have always enjoyed the Fool's Card in the Tarot Deck. He's jumping off into space, or doing a handstand, while being carefree and somewhat reckless, but definitely naïve. What a way to be a foolish one. He evolved into the Joker card in the 52 card playing decks of today.

Some lovely bunnies for anyone who wishes for them to bring good luck.

Sometimes I need only to stand wherever I am to be blessed.

Otter otter

Why not say Otter Otter for the first of things to wish good luck?

Or as my friend (FB) Nan Zito says, one of these things is not like the other.

Amazing sculpture:
'The Rising Tide', has been installed near the bankside of Vauxhall bridge by its artist Jason deCaires Taylor, a British artist known for creating the world’s first underwater museum!

It is the month of November today

...which means, my father's birth anniversary on Nov 9, (1917), Veterans Day on Nov 11, as well as birthday for cousin Patricia Rogers Seliger (1946)...then on the 23rd, Thanksgiving all over America, and then the crazy shopping of which I never take part of Black Friday.

Diwali occurs on Nov 12, for the returning of light!  Cousin Cynthia E Rogers has a birthday on the 18th (1958)

Rabbit rabbit for luck for all who wish to have it declared by others to them.

Granddaughters and their parents raised bunnies and sold them when they lived in Connecticut. The little girls loved to play with them. So a circular flexible fence was brought outside and the girls could get in it with the bunnies...maybe just one or two at a time.

Since moving to Ohio, they have a Pomeranian dog, Cody, also slightly fluffy, who the parents take for walks.

So what does November mean in your life?
I understand it's the month dedicated to Native Americans. That should be interesting.
