That is something I enjoy doing when I hike in some special places, like the Broceliande forest (where Merlin is supposed to live)... In French we call them caern, those piles of rock.

Thanks for the link. I was inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, but had already been doing creek cairns in the Smokies back in the 80s. I'll have to look up Broceliande forest too!
I keep building little cairns in my creek and the raccoons keep knocking them down. I stack them up again...they knock them down. I'm thinking of using a dab of waterproof glue just to see what they'll do, ha.
