Black Mountain
The greening of the mountains from Tanbark Ridge overlook, elevation 3175 feet, Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina. The road seen in upper left is the parkway as it continues northeast. Can you see the little houses, including my favorite, the red roofed one?

I always feel a bit sad to see an old tree cut down. On the other side there are so many trees in my father-in-law's yard, one fell on his house and took a corner off a few years ago. After that he cut every tree down within hitting distance.
ReplyDeleteTiny person - Huge tree! lol
