Moving on over

I've combined my blogs, just look at the last post, over at Alchemy of Clay. Trying to have a life outside blogland. Not sure it's going to work....

Golf anyone?

Hiawassee Ave meanders past Lake Tomahawk, going north right through the Black Mountain, NC golf course.  Makes you wonder which came first.

What a gorgeous day, and as I slowly drove through the course taking pictures (stopping every 100 feet or so) I didn't see any golf carts or golfers.

Hiawassee deadends onto North Fork Rd, the northern boundary of the golf course.  So I turned right and followed the last of the links along it.

And I think those bright colored people must be golfers.  Pictures taken on sunny but windy Nov. 10, 2013.

Quote for the day:

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.
Marcel Proust

  1. What beautiful pictures. If anything could persuade me to take up golf, golf courses as lovely as this would do the trick

  2. B - What can I say? These are just beautiful shots! LOVE the fall foliage. And I always like fences and trees in photos. VERY NICE!!

  3. I'm not in to golf but open green spaces are a Good Thing for the soul.
