Saluda Part 6

Duck Alley had 3 buildings with similar styles and paint colors, very nicely done.

In front of the one right on the highway was a man busy sanding a bench.

He was being watched by this sweet spaniel type dog, who Helen had to give some loving to.

But apparently dog belonged to someone else, perhaps in the real estate office behind him.

More on Duck Alley tomorrow!

Quote for today:

"It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again to the earth and in the contemplation of her beauties to know of wonder and humility."  Rachel Carson

  1. Ahh -- what a sweet dog. Saluda looks like a nice walkable town with some very interesting stores to visit. Enjoy touring the town through your words and photos -- barbara
