basically the neice/nephew of the woman who owns the next door house decided to take all the growth out...azaleas, roses, and weeds as well. I call it the scalped yard. The owner is in a nursing home. I feel so bad that nobody cares for her house. Unless you consider this caring.
Quote for today:
If you love truth, be a lover of silence. Silence, like the
sunlight will illuminate you in God.
St. Issac - 7th Century Hermit Monk
How sad, almost a desecration to take everything. I wonder why they felt the need to do that.
ReplyDeleteHi Denise...I think it is pure negligence. When someone complained to them (probably the town of Black Mountain, they just tore everything away...chop chop chop. So winter will certainly look bleak over there. And no azaleas in the spring, nor roses. Well, they certainly never saw them to enjoy them.
DeleteThey sure did "de-nude" it! That's rather sad.
ReplyDeleteSad. Some people just aren't gardeners.
