Poor tree

Poor Mimosa tree out by the street has so many blossoms, and it's rained so much, the weight of all that water  just took one of it's main trunks to the ground.  Well, not quite yet, but I think it probably will eventually.  And fortunately there's nothing but grass under it.  The chain link fence is over behind that limb.  And my little wood fence is just beyond it.  The scent is very sweet from all those blossoms!

As yesterday's rain continued, the branches sunk further and further toward the ground.  One lone part stayed upright, so I moved my car away in case the continuing thunder storms might bring that tallest portion down and it should hit the car.

If it isn't won tang tis a mother.
