I liked this shot so much it's my header over on "When I was 69" blog.
These rocking chairs, and ones on the other side of the building, are frequent gathering places of residents.
There are some handicapped formatted apartments in the complex.
This lovely pink dogwood is on the other side of the office building, with a three story building behind it, more apartments with basically the same layout as mine, but on a hallway rather than directly outside through their front doors.
After the late pruning in March, some azalea bloom are still there on these bushes. Here is my kitchen window.
This flame azalea (native to the woods of North Carolina) is doing very well.

ReplyDeleteThey are so brilliant, aren't they? If anyone can be ho-hum in their presence, they aren't looking up at all!
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI love your header photo and the blossoms are gorgeous. Have a great day!
Enjoy Tuesday...see you tomorrow! Thanks.
Delete...you are surrounded by beauty.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to be everywhere I look!
DeleteLooking good. Too bad the season is so short — at least it is here.
ReplyDeleteWe have high winds now, low humidity. So the blossoms are somewhat sunburned and falling off. But rain is expected this weekend, as well as possible frosts. Things in spring sure do change with the weather.
DeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks
DeletePink dogwood is lovely. At a house long ago we had one that started pink but would change to white as the blooms developed. We had much needed rain yesterday and this morning. I hope I can get some photos of what's happening outside here.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see how your spring is developing.
DeleteSpring is such a beautiful time of renewal. You are surrounded by such beauty.
ReplyDeleteI'm always stopping to click a photo with my phone. It's here today, gone tomorrow!
DeleteYou live in a beautiful place, Barb. What pleasure it must be to stroll under those blossoms!
ReplyDeleteI often am just driving along on residential streets and stop (if no one's behind me) and click out my window.
DeleteLovely pictures! I like the header photo too.
