From the mundane to the beautiful

 

A couple weeks before Christmas, we had a water leak (same pipe that leaked for months last winter). It only lasted a couple of weeks before these guys fixed it this time.

Don't you love the way the other crew members take it easy while the back hoe does all the finishing?

Among the other things to do before going out of town for a week, I had a dental appointment!

I arrive with my mask, since I sit in a waiting room with sick people.

The decorations here seem to belong to the Dental Hygenist, who is from Bolivia.

Yes, I'm numb (upper lip) and wearing my goggles so they can zap the material to harden it.

I knew Amy Amaryllis wouldn't like to be alone for the holidays, so my friend took care of her.

Isn't that incredible? She didn't have a window to put it in, but it just kept on blooming anyway!

Orchie is blooming her little heart out too! Just wait till tomorrow when I bring Amy home from my friend's house...they'll be such pretty gals primping in front of each other!

AFRICAN SAYING

Run around day

 One day of each week seems to be the run around day. So I dropped by my favorite car fixer place to get my tires checked, and blown up to proper temperature. No charge. But I'll schedule an oil change soon.

Go to dentist office to  sign the release form to send to the other dentist with X-rays. Hope this will allow me to have a good consultation see below!

I walked up the stairs to the second floor, with a break for huffing and puffing on the landing. These windows gave a view at the top of the YMCA at Cheshire. Going downstairs was much easier.

More trees in that area.

I had a good consultation with another dentist (who I've seen in the past) to consider what to do about my front teeth. The worst one broke off just before my cousins came to visit! I tried gluing it back on, but it came back off before I even tried to eat. The cement was designed for crowns, not front teeth.  So I've now got a simple plan that I can afford, and it will keep me smiling the rest of my life...however long that may be!
