Cherry Street welcomes you

Several stores on Cherry Street, downtown Black Mountain.

A great little store for those of us who like hand crafted pottery.

This post is being submitted to Friday My Town Shoot Outs.
Come over to see what else is happening!

  1. Hi B., A pleasure to find your blog thanks to your kind comment on mine. You live in a beautiful and interesting area. Your photography is excellent and I must congratulate you on that sunrise photo on Feb 3. You asked about John's Island ... well, when I started blogging the first thing I had to do was come up with a name. It was more challenging than it would seem ... well, there are so many Johns (trying not to make a pun) so I thought maybe I could create an island and put all my creations on it. My real location is in downtown Seattle. :-) Thanks again for stopping by and your kind comment. John

  3. Welcome to Friday My Town Shoot Outs, Barb. I hope you will join us each week, and show us more of Black Mountain (such a terrific name for a town!), it can be a bit challenging some weeks but it's a lot of fun. Really like your two shots this week.

  4. You live in a beautiful part of the country. We had the pleasure of visiting NC a few years ago.

  5. Indeed, you live in a beautiful part of our US of A! I traveled US 70 many times in my younger days on our family trips to the mountains. Thanks for visiting my reflections - the reflection is readable because it is a reflection of the back of the sculpture, and since the ice is clear the reflection looks the same as the real thing.

  6. Welcome Barb, I love both of the Carolinas. Only been to Asheville in NC but what beauty. Have family in SC. The name of your town conjures up some ideas of family drama and exciting scenery. Hope you continue to be part of Friday Shoot Out. I would like to see more.
