Pink Macro spring

Beautiful pink blossom (can't think of the name right now, do you know it?)

This is my Monday Macro Monday Macro submission for this week.

  1. Lovely pink flower, and no, I don't know...but isn't that so true about the split second...and man, have I missed my share of split seconds!

  3. Quince...that's a name that doesn't stay in my mind, but you're right!

  5. Luckily, Lea knew it, because I'm the worst with names of flowers. Nevertheless, it's pretty and does look like spring!

  6. I just checked the empty house's lot where this quince bloomed several years ago. Someone thought clearing away thorny briars was a good idea, so there won't be any quince this year. There's a huge pile of brush instead. Too bad. Not exactly an improvement to my mind.

  8. I tried to comment on your other blog, the one about the year before you turn 70, but see that you only allow Google members to comment. I wanted to tell you how much I loved your photo of the couple sitting in the living room. One seldom sees interior photos of that time period.

    1. OK, now it says it will take "registered users." I just wanted to avoid the anonymous comments that were mostly spam. Hope you can comment there now!
