Black Mountain

The greening of the mountains from Tanbark Ridge overlook, elevation 3175 feet, Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina. The road seen in upper left is the parkway as it continues northeast. Can you see the little houses, including my favorite, the red roofed one?

Big Crafty

It's street craft fair time in Asheville!
Sarah Sunshine is selling her pottery!

The Vance monument is not getting too much attention.

Street musicians attract the attention of a small pink kitty cat (face painted of course)

I stand in small crowded hallway inside the Art Museum, outside the Wortham Theatre.  Lots of crafts, (free beer) and many many gawkers like me.  It was too hot and crowded to be very enjoyable.  And quite honestly, the quality of crafts didn't impress us much.

Really, who woud want this hanging in their home?  You?  You're welcome to it!

My answer to a hot exhibit, as I'm sure lots of others also felt.

  1. Whatever that creature is in that frame, I wouldn't be a fan of that either! LOL.
