Not in the mountains

A mockingbird greeted me in sand dunes in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is not very near Black Mountain, but in perspective, it's closer than Saturn!  It was lovely to be greeted by her song, much the same as the ones in my own neighborhood.

    1. Actually it was several years ago. I'd like to be there soon though, whenever we do hit the hot weather, if we do.

    1. And you have such gorgeous birds all over the place. These are mainly gorgeous by their varieties of songs.
