Black Mountain

The greening of the mountains from Tanbark Ridge overlook, elevation 3175 feet, Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina. The road seen in upper left is the parkway as it continues northeast. Can you see the little houses, including my favorite, the red roofed one?

Center for the Arts

The old City Hall building is now the Center for the Arts (with Open sign)  further along State St. is the SVM (Swannanoa Valley Museum) which has a great collection of artifacts from the area (but is closed for the winter months.)

The BMCA (Black Mountain Center for the Arts) runs our clay studio which I talk about frequently on my other blog HERE.  Or you can check out the web site for BMCA here. http://blackmountainarts.org/wp/
