The greening of the mountains from Tanbark Ridge overlook, elevation 3175 feet, Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina. The road seen in upper left is the parkway as it continues northeast. Can you see the little houses, including my favorite, the red roofed one?

  1. The bird apartments are my favourite!

Regarding your comment, Bolivar's name is quite spread in the United States, with town names all over the country and statues too, including in New York, Washington, and Miami. And a Civil War general is named after him- Simon Bolivar Bruckner.
