Hanging around the club house

Hanging at the place where several rocking chairs welcome residents to take a moment to relax, geraniums, petunias and phlox are well tended. The club house is the rennovated original home on the property, a two story building which houses the office, and 2 two-bedroom apartments above (the only ones in the complex.)  There's also a couple of group rooms inside, which aren't available for parties like many club-houses at apartments. Oh well.

We gather once a week either on the porch or inside to distribute the produce provided for elders from the local food bank.

Today's quote:
The heart that breaks open can contain the whole universe.

  1. I always use Geraniums for my own hanging baskets - they are so forgiving if you have to be away for any length of time and cannot water them. A great little flower to have in the garden.
It is a terrible reflection on society today that food banks are needed to sustain so many people. We have them here too.

  2. Hello,

The hanging baskets and flowers looks beautiful. It must be nice to sit there on the porch! Enjoy your day and new week!
