Porch garden July

One of those succulents is doing great!

The Four-O'Clocks are huge, but yet to have flowers.

So far one of these buds has fallen off the gardenia...the bush is full of them. I've moved it so it won't get any downpours for a while.  I remember someone telling me that gardenias don't like to have wet feet, and in my experience blooming happens when a plant is dryer rather than wetter.  What do you think?
...though I only water plants once a day, and sometimes just every other day, look who popped up in this little planter!

The lavender plant is going like crazy in a small planter!

And every day or so I need to dead-head the geraniums!

Quote for today:
Practicing humility in life is important - while you may have a greater understanding in some areas, others will always be able to teach you something in other areas.
