Reflections
I not only got a kick out of this bumper sticker, but there is the phone camera reflected, with my hands as well, in the chrome on the bumper.
I'll have to send this in to Weekend Reflections...I haven't participated in a while. Come on over and see what everyone else is up to!

Reflection and restaurant
What wonderful reflections can be seen here! Weekend Reflections.
My local reflection isn't anywhere near as exciting as London. But it's pretty to me and I wanted to share it with you.
Yes, a self portrait, taken about 2 years ago. Not much different looking. It is reflection of a lovely dining room in the Jarrett House in Dillsboro, NC. My friends Pat and Michael said this was the place to eat in Dillsboro. So we went there, and it is a family restaurant, where everyone eats the same huge menu of sides, but choses one of 5 (I think) meat dishes. We all were delighted! (Incidentally, I love having 2-3 pairs of glasses hanging around for whatever needs I might have to focus upon!)
With a holiday weekend here (Memorial Day) we have lots of traffic already hitting the area. I'm thrilled and hope lots of folks come out for the TailGate Market in Black Mountain from 9-12 on Sat. (So I'm posting this a little early, just in case you might wish to make plans!)

Cherry Blossom Moon
I may not be able to keep the moon in focus, but I loved that it turned the sky pink from the cherry blossoms. Enjoy the reflection of light off our dear old satellite, the full moon. For that reason I'm including this in Weekend Reflections.

Visitor's Center Reflections
From the back wall of the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor's Center, an electronic monitor on the map reflects the entrance windows.
For a "green building" there is a lot of glass. Here a display is picking up the trees in the woods as viewed through the window. And yes, that's an old white wall tire as part of the display.
There I am out of focus reflected in the wonderful chrome hub cap. Not the photographer on the right, who's part of the display.
These photos are included in Weekend Reflections.
Thought for the day:
I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness for it shows me the stars. Og Mandino

Just next door

Cherry Street Kids has great gift ideas but it's not a big box store |

If you like fiber arts, Nice Threads is down a flight of stairs and has great one-of-a kind designer clothes...as well as classes in weaving, etc. |

Everything a tourist could want, and then some. |
Come over to see other photos of reflections and comment on them.
