Repost from 2019

And though snow fell once (maybe twice with rain) in 2023, there was no accumulation here. We shall see what comes along in the next year...

  1. You do get some significant weather events. We had a bit of an ice storm last night. We lost internet but not electricity.

    1. First comment disappeared. Guess it was too succinct. I had my internet blip out, such that the modem that carries it turned off. I rebooted the thing. Then called the company. And they said there was no internet outage in my area, and they'd reboot the modem from their side. It must have worked, because my internet came back on. But the modem took till this evening to finally have it's lights working.

  2. Such beautiful snowy scenes, something we don't get to see here on the California coast. (NewRobin13)

    1. As a friend on Facebook said, we all rush to take photos before any footprints are in the snow. If it happens.

  3. We had snow here overnight and now rain. Snow keeps thumping on the ground as it slides off the roof.

    1. We had some good rain which was sorely needed. Oh I remember hearing snow melting and falling with those thumps. It's been quite a while since I lived in New England.

  4. No snow here yet, which is actually unusual for our area. Beautiful selection of photos, Barb.

  5. I like those winter scenes. We usually don't get snow and I can say that I don't miss it but I love looking at it in phoros. :)

    1. I moved south from New England many years ago, just so we didn't have to shovel snow!

So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
