At the parking area near the tennis courts, by Lake Tomahawk, here come the geese.

There's a person standing there clicking our pictures, what shall we do? Keep eating... |

This is our usual routine, and cars don't bother us, so I'll watch out for this person, enjoy the grub! |

We have to clear this area because in a couple of hours there are going to be a flock of people listening to a concert. |

OK troops, follow me, we have more insects to grab over this way! |

We have them also. It is the mess they leave that is not good. It can cause infections they say. And little tots like to sit on the grass or near the water. And Mothers have to clean the tables for the mess before they sit down at picnic tables. And Heaven ibid. They like french fries.
ReplyDeleteNot anyone has really come up with how to flag them away. One guy suggested to put his hound dog at bay.
Hi, I guess I enjoy having wildlife around so much I didn't think of them as a pest. The lake sure attracts them. Fortunately dogs who are leashed also have an owner to pick up their leavings. Most of the geese and ducks droppings are gone with the next rain...and I don't walk barefoot in the grass around the lake!
DeleteI like watching the geese. I use to watch them on the north shore in Minnesota and they are so interesting to observe.
ReplyDeleteThe Geese are always fun to see!
