The peaks have it still

The snow was still melting Sunday morning at my friend's house, forming lovely icicles.

And as I traveled south, I saw that trees were still sporting white tops in higher elevations, especially the north facing slopes.

This was Williams Elementary School in Swannanoa in the foreground.
