The rain garden

The plants for the rain garden beside the clay studio. May 15 I took this shot.

Though in late June we've had drought conditions, there's constant water discharged from the clay studio, which may have different colors in it at times, depending on the chemicals in glazes.

There are some nice plants growing well here now.

Today's quote:

In the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed.

  1. ...rain gardens are difficult to design, I hope that will be successful.

    1. Our hilly conditions often mean steep runoff which can swamp buildings...like the nearby clay studio. There are drainpipes designated to go to the rain garden, but somehow there can still be flooded floors in the studio...a strange condition.
