Bradford Pear buds

About to burst open, Bradford Pear tree which is 4 weeks later blooming than last year across the street from my house
Go one half mile down the hill to Black Mountain center, and this Bradford Pear tree is happily blooming

I'll submit this post to Macro Mondays.  Come see other photographers who have a much steadier hand...perhaps some tripods or uni-pods?

  1. It sure is pretty! We don't have anything blooming around here yet. Maybe pretty soon.

    1. Oh, I used to live under a weeping cherry tree. This house has a regular (sterile) cherry tree, which blooms later!

  4. One of the best things about life in the mountains...you can drive a few miles with different elevations and see the changes in spring and fall.

So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
