First place that was open was a general store type place. Since one of my friends is only off from her job on Monday, we often have trouble seeing what's open that day. The first book store wasn't.
Some homey touches on the sidewalk
Many things to see in the Something Special Gift Shop
It not only went waaaay back (to the garden department where I fell in love with gnomes) but went width-wise to the space of two more shops floorspace. This one had things for kiddies.
As part of the day trip, we had researched various light lunch places...cafe, or deli. Not a full course meal please! We had more places to go, then other places to rush home to do and be.
Almost every time I've come to Burnsville, I've had lunch at the Garden Deli
We were there early, which was good, because later on it started to rain. But we had already gone inside the last store by then.

And a good story teller demonstrates the actual way things happened.
Both my friend T. and I had one of these 2 salad lunches.
My vegan friend had the veggie burger.
