A good bit of exercise brought me up the hill (walking in the parking lot) to see these lovely flowers.
The sun came out, shining across this Iris !

Today's quote:
When we impose our will onto others, we are telling them we want to control and leave them without a true voice.
...the iris are beautiful, ours should be in flower for Memorial day. Here they are often call flags.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm so glad you've finally got spring blossoms to enjoy. I always called the wild ones near ponds flags...but there probably aren't many of them left.
DeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteSome elderly person who lived there in years gone by (or maybe more recently) planted all these beautiful iris.
DeleteThe flowers are starting to bloom here too. It's so wonderful to enjoy this springtime of renewal.
ReplyDeleteSo glad your springtime blossoms are beginning for you. It's such a colorful season!
DeleteThose colors are so intense! I hope to add more color to my iris beds next year. Fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteThe pale blues are a pretty standard variety, but those deep browns are really beautiful!
DeleteIris flowers are so lovely, but the ones that I once planted were very short-lived. I didn’t really like the plant itself, so I planted something else the next year.
ReplyDeleteThey don't stay in bloom but for a day or two, and the best way they show is a few years after planting, when they've spread. That gets better each year. I wonder what you replaced them with.
DeleteThe Irises are so pretty, I love the colors too. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt was worth the walk to see the beautiful Irises. I love the view your new banner gives, it's a beauty.
