Nature's stained glass window

The wonderful colors on our close maple next to cars and the trash bins.

I didn't share photos of the trash tumped over by a bear this morning.  She enjoyed pulling some of the white bags out and opening them  up for goodies.  We aren't supposed to put food stuff out until the morning it's picked up, but when I went out at 7:30 this morning, obviously someone had filled one of the bins with some delectables.  We have just one bin that's bear proof, with little pins and wires that keep folks without opposable thumbs out of it.

And right behind my car, on the sidewalk, was the answer to the age old question, "Does a bear shit in the woods?"
"Nope, on my sidewalk," was the answer today.  Fortunately I could walk the other way around to the car, and the maintenance guy cleaned it up, as well as all those garbage bags.  He should get paid extra for dealing with wildlife.  I sure looked around when I took my garbage out this morning to make sure I didn't have company.  Bears are coming in the daytime now.  Poor little things, getting too used to humans.

  1. Hello,

Pretty Autumn trees and colors. They are like Nature's stained glass. The bears must be filling up for the winter. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day! Have a great weekend!

  2. Lovely photos of the leaves against that beautiful sky, especially in the first shot. There are bears near my neighborhood too, but they usually only come out at night. I've never seen them, but my neighbors have.
