Mountain snow sort of

The day after we didn't get snow...there's at least a bit on top of the mountain across the valley.

So I can see through the maple branches during the winter. These mountains all disappear during the summer when leaves are out!

Today's quote:

Everyone, in some small sacred sanctuary of the self, is nuts. -Leo Rosten, author (1908-1997)

    1. We may still get some more. Most of our big stroms have been in March.

  2. That light dusting of snow there looks like the light snow we had here in the coast range mountains. A lovely view.

    1. Yes, we've had a few cold spells...but they do seem slight in relation to all the warm ones.

  3. I wanted snow in February but now that flowers are blooming, I am wishing it away! Rain here but no snow, thank goodness.

    1. Blossoms on trees already...if and when we have snow it will endanger fruit crops.

    1. I've been posting many old photos of spring...kind of wishful thinking in Feb. But now it's acting like real spring !
