I'm used to August Glads as well...so wonder how come these bloomed already. Haven't been by this week, so they're probably gone. Now I can look forward to seeing yours!
Thanks Robin...I love capturing flowers, and they seldom disappoint, as long as I pay attention to where the camera is focusing. Some wonderful blurs have been tossed.
Isn't it strange how we remember our grandmother's gardens? I left her city when I was just 7 years old, but I remember roses and bright red flowers in a circle...darn, can't think of the name...taller than I was.
So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
...Mother Nature came up with a beauty with Queen Anne's Lace!
ReplyDeleteIt is such a beauty, and interesting how it's close to the poisonous one too. I just read a novel about that.
DeleteB&B? Do tell. I have missed something, but that isn’t unusual.
ReplyDeleteThere are B&B's all over the town. Those on the lake must be full all season. A few call themselves Inns.
DeleteThe flowers look pretty. The B&B is in a great location. Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteThere's another smaller B&B next door to this one...at least I think it is.
DeleteVery nice photo of you on your 80th. Queen Anne's lace just stating to bloom here too. And my gladiolas will probably bloom in August.

DeleteYou do see the prettiest flowers there. So lovely.

DeleteI love gladioli - my grandma used to grow them.
