The sun has gone past hitting my porch at all (sort of north facing) with the building shading it all day. I'll be putting things up against the building on Sunday night for our first frost warning. Doubt that it will happen, but you never know.
Hi Marcia, I made a comment on your last post about the Cherokees, and my understanding of the Trail of Tears. I just learned some could stay in NC because of owning land, but some did still hide in the mountains as I'd heard before. So the legends are just as valid as before.
I've been lucky that these few plants grew so well. The begonia and violet caught the fungus, even after cleaning everything with bleach water. I just may have to toss those planters.
So glad to have your comments...whatever they may be. I'm one who likes to reply sometime or another, so others will see that; or you might happen back sometime and see what conversation might have started.
...my potted plants are about done for this year, yours still look great!

DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteYour plants and flowers are looking beautiful. Love the quote! Take care, have a great day and happy weekend!
THanks, Eileen. So glad you enjoyed the quote and my photos.
DeleteYou still have some lovely blooms there. And those two cuties at the end of your post brought a smile to my face.

DeleteLove seeing the flowers blooming there. Your porch is so full of color and beauty.

DeleteYour porch is a wonderful sight to see. Flowers here are looking rather rough due to all the wind and raining. It's been raining now for three days.
ReplyDeleteOh my, you've received the wet which we are so short of...at least potted plants can be watered by hand, now every other day.
DeleteYour flower pics are lovely, whether from on your porch or the library. Kim was delighted with the “wee” ones who accompanied your quote.
DeleteAren't they just so giggly cute?
DeleteWe have a big pot of those yellow mums out front. They are quite striking and the only colour in our garden now.
ReplyDeleteLovely colours.
