Next to last day of the year...

Sunrise in Georgia on my way (last week) to visit family.

And two new critters came home with me from FL. First is Fuzzy Wuzzy Bear from my grandson Michael. He's a "warmie" with lavender which is enhanced when he's heated in a microwave...then he's cuddly warm! (I have to go buy a new microwave since mine died before my trip south.)

Second new critter is this hedgehog from my son, with good advice inside his rim. I think I'll call him Tiny.

"Enjoy the Little Things."

    1. THanks! Since I don't live where I can see a sunrise, it was nice to experience that one. I am enjoying Tiny the Hedgehog mug. So cheerful!

  5. Fortunately microwaves are no longer expensive. Out first was a major expense IIRC.

    1. Oh yes, I remember the huge and expensive first one. And this one works, but doesn't follow instructions any more. If plugged in and you close the door, it starts to cook. I could then just pull the plug, but somehow I don't think it's really very safe. I've had it about 5 years, and it was less than $100. I hope it's replacement will be as well.

  7. Hi Barbara, Sounds like you had a nice trip visiting family in Florida. My better half has a lavender scented rabbit that she uses as a calming tool and to relieve shoulder pains. Wishing you and yours a healthy, happy New Year! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

    1. I'm not yet feeling refreshed. Maybe caught a cold, or just the rebound from pushing my body on the road. Anyway, I also hope to feel refreshed soon for blogging! Happy 2024 to you and your loved ones also.
