Lake Tomahawk and approaches to it - April 2024

Driving to the Tomahawk Senior Center, I was thrilled at the springtime beauty. Here are shots through the car window, on a day when I could stop without traffic behind me!

And construction continues, but the lake is refilled to it's normal level. The dam is still off limits, so no walking around on the 0.55 mile loop, just walk halfway then back.

  2. So pretty there, Springtime! The little lake does look welcoming though it is being bandaged , whatever. Pretty little spot to follow the dog - .55 is a quick walk.

    1. I love the term bandaged for the ongoing construction activities. I used to be able to walk around the lake in 15 minutes. Just walking, no running, skipping or hopping. Now I do stop to take photos often.

  3. The azaleas there are so lovely. Nice to see the lake refilled, too.

    1. Thanks Marcia. It is better looking when the lake has a full level of water. Azaleas are bright and cheerful for just a brief moment...maybe a week at most.
